Contest FAQ
Create the visual that best represents The Keeper Chronicles so far. It can focus on a character, a place, a scene, a feeling, or your own reading of the story.
Base your work on the story you have experienced through your Keeper so far. You can return to the Telegram bot and read again before you create.
Up to three entries per person. You do not need to choose a prize category. Just label each entry honestly as AI used or No generative AI.
If a generative tool created or substantially changed any visual part of the work, label the entry AI used and disclose the tool. Basic editing such as cropping, colour correction, resizing, or removing dust does not count as generative AI use.
Yes. Procreate, Photoshop, Blender, a camera, and other digital tools are fine when you make the work yourself without generative AI. Label the entry No generative AI and keep a sketch, progress image, or source file in case the judges ask.
Sign in on this page and upload the finished artwork. Add its title, the name you want credited, an honest AI-use label, and a short note about how you made it. If AI was used, name every generative tool involved.
Upload one PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. If your work needs several views, such as a sculpture or physical piece, combine them into one finished image before uploading.
Yes. Return to this page, choose the entry, and save a new image or edit its details before submissions close. Any change goes back through review.
Submissions close on 20 August 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC. Late entries will not be judged.
The SCALES team will choose the Open and Human-made winners based on how well the work captures the novel, its originality, and its execution. AI-used entries qualify for Open. No-generative-AI entries qualify for both Open and Human-made. The site vote decides Most Loved.
Yes. A No-generative-AI entry can win Open, Human-made, and Most Loved for a total of 150 USDC. An AI-used entry can win Open and Most Loved for a total of 100 USDC.
Approved entries will appear together on this page when voting opens. From 21 to 23 August, each signed-in account gets one vote and may change it before voting closes. Totals stay hidden until the end. Bot, purchased, or coordinated fake votes will not count.
You keep ownership. By entering, you grant SCALES a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, publish, and adapt the work for SCALES marketing, promotional, and commercial materials, with credit where reasonably possible. You must own the work and have the right to use every asset in it.
Each award includes 50 USDC, the limited Keeper of Visions role in the SCALES Discord, and The Keep Made Visible badge on the winner's SCALES Wall.
Find your Keeper on Telegram, read together, then bring what you saw to the contest. Submit and vote here on SCALES.
